Reversed Lens Photography Studios specializes in fresh, boutique portraiture for every stage in life. Our passion is capturing the emotion inherent in the human experience-- the first days of babyhood, the jubilance of childhood, the awkwardness and anticipation of the teenage years, the sweetness of love and the beginnings of a life together-- and then translating those moments into heirloom-quality art.

Our blog is a combination of all of those moments. We highlight the latest sessions from our portrait and event work, as well as little glimpses into what drives our creativity and passion. Sometimes that's a product or vendor that we're thrilled to have stumbled into, or it might just be moments from our life that we felt compelled to share.

More than anything, we hope that you'll feel our passion: for beauty, even in the most unexpected places, for uniqueness, but most of all for the true, beautiful joy of real life.

Come see your life through a different lens with us today!

Ryan & Lola’s First Look • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

Ryan and Lola were married last weekend at the Portland LDS temple, and we’ll have their pictures up soon (I promise, Bethany!) But first I had to post some pictures from their first look. Photography is not permitted inside of the temple due to the sacredness of the ordinances, but Lola really wanted to capture...

Evelyn & Scott • Portland Oregon Engagement and Wedding Photographers

Evelyn and Scott are one of those couples about which Will and I have always used the phrase, “They make everyone else jealous.” They both have fabulous jobs, live in a beautiful building in the Pearl, and… oh, of course, they’re drop dead gorgeous to boot. But they’re also humble and funny and adorably, magically...

Maggie and Patrick • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

We met Maggie and Patrick (and Maggie’s awesome mom, Robin) at a wedding show last January, and I completely fell in love with Maggie right there on the spot. She was just so sweet and adorable. And their venue, the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, is one of our favorite venues to photograph. Maggie and Patrick have...

Krysta Unveiled • Portland Oregon Photographers

We photographed all of the consultants for Charlotte’s Weddings and More a few weeks ago, and then last week Will got to take Krysta, the owner of the salon, to the amazing Hotel de Luxe for her private session. Krysta had a great time playing dress-up and Katherine at Event Cosmetics made her look even...

Megan & Nat • Portland Oregon Wedding Photography

We set out last week to photograph Megan and Nat in one of our favorite spots in Pearl District (we’d thought it was “our” spot, but we keep seeing it pop up on blogs around the city; I guess we’ve been discovered!) I loved the bright colors they chose, which matched their personalities perfectly. I...

Meegan and Levant • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

Meegan and Levant will be married this summer on the beach at one of our favorite locations (the Surfsand Resort at Cannon Beach), but unlike most of the couples who choose us as their photographers, we’d never actually met them until this last weekend! They live in Seattle and ventured down to do some wedding...

Maggie and Patrick • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

We’ll be photographing Maggie and Patrick’s wedding in June at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, just outside of Portland, which I am totally psyched about. I LOVE this venue and can’t wait to capture their day there. But first, we got to photograph what we like to call the dress rehearsal minus the 500 onlookers, aka...
