Reversed Lens Photography Studios specializes in fresh, boutique portraiture for every stage in life. Our passion is capturing the emotion inherent in the human experience-- the first days of babyhood, the jubilance of childhood, the awkwardness and anticipation of the teenage years, the sweetness of love and the beginnings of a life together-- and then translating those moments into heirloom-quality art.

Our blog is a combination of all of those moments. We highlight the latest sessions from our portrait and event work, as well as little glimpses into what drives our creativity and passion. Sometimes that's a product or vendor that we're thrilled to have stumbled into, or it might just be moments from our life that we felt compelled to share.

More than anything, we hope that you'll feel our passion: for beauty, even in the most unexpected places, for uniqueness, but most of all for the true, beautiful joy of real life.

Come see your life through a different lens with us today!

Erin and Gus • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

I love the hub-bub of weddings, the nervous anticipation, the beautiful moments when two become one. Erin and Gus’ wedding was one of those days when everything comes together perfectly, in all it’s imperfectness, to create a truly beautiful couple. And their venue, the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, is one of our favorite venues to photograph. Maggie and Patrick have...

Divine Miss Em • Portland Oregon Wedding Photography

I LOVE bridals. I remember being younger and looking through bridal magazines (heck, I still do that!) and oohing and ahhing over all of the gorgeous images. It’s like the big girls’ version of dress-up and such a fun way to capture some unique images of the bride, in her one of a kind wedding...

Naomi & Chris’ Album Preview

Naomi & Chris had a beautiful wedding at Cannon Beach last summer. Their wedding was the most intimate that we’ve photographed, with only 11 attendees! Their families were lovely and their celebration was so personal and meaningful. Of course, Haystack Rock makes an amazing backdrop for any ceremony! They then had a champagne reception in...

We’ll be photographing TJ and Cherie’s wedding later this summer at the absolutely picturesque Green Villa Barn in Independance, Oregon. I’m terribly excited; the last time we were there was to attend the wedding of one of my childhood friends and I remember thinking, “I would LOVE to photograph here someday.” And I can’t imagine...
