Reversed Lens Photography Studios specializes in fresh, boutique portraiture for every stage in life. Our passion is capturing the emotion inherent in the human experience-- the first days of babyhood, the jubilance of childhood, the awkwardness and anticipation of the teenage years, the sweetness of love and the beginnings of a life together-- and then translating those moments into heirloom-quality art.

Our blog is a combination of all of those moments. We highlight the latest sessions from our portrait and event work, as well as little glimpses into what drives our creativity and passion. Sometimes that's a product or vendor that we're thrilled to have stumbled into, or it might just be moments from our life that we felt compelled to share.

More than anything, we hope that you'll feel our passion: for beauty, even in the most unexpected places, for uniqueness, but most of all for the true, beautiful joy of real life.

Come see your life through a different lens with us today!

We did a session with the Kodesch family last fall that ranks as one of my favorites of all time. Part of that, I’m sure, has to do with how much I love these little girls. Part of it was their adorable Boden outfits. But the best part was watching them be their adorable selves with their parents. In fact, one of the images of Dora and her mom has been our ad in NW Kids magazine for the last few months; I still get chills when I see the way that she’s staring adoringly up into her mom’s eyes. When their mom asked me to put together an album from their session I knew that I would love it. I had fun putting some little touches of whimsy into it to make it really reflect life through a little girl’s point of view. It’s a nice final memento of the time when girls ruled their roost: they’ll be welcoming a baby brother next month who will, of course, be featured soon on the blog! But for now, it’s their day in the sun…
