Reversed Lens Photography Studios specializes in fresh, boutique portraiture for every stage in life. Our passion is capturing the emotion inherent in the human experience-- the first days of babyhood, the jubilance of childhood, the awkwardness and anticipation of the teenage years, the sweetness of love and the beginnings of a life together-- and then translating those moments into heirloom-quality art.

Our blog is a combination of all of those moments. We highlight the latest sessions from our portrait and event work, as well as little glimpses into what drives our creativity and passion. Sometimes that's a product or vendor that we're thrilled to have stumbled into, or it might just be moments from our life that we felt compelled to share.

More than anything, we hope that you'll feel our passion: for beauty, even in the most unexpected places, for uniqueness, but most of all for the true, beautiful joy of real life.

Come see your life through a different lens with us today!

TJ and Cherie • Portland Oregon Wedding Photographers

We photographed TJ and Cherie’s wedding earlier this month at the picturesque Green Villa Barns in Independance, Oregon. The gardens there are amazing and are surrounded by corn and wheat fields, which are of course a photographer’s paradise. And TJ and Cherie? Well, they couldn’t be more perfect. They are such sweet couple, so incredibly...

Erin and Gus • Portland Oregon Engagement and Wedding Photographers

Our associates, Rob and Ryan, will be photographing Gus and Erin’s wedding later this summer and I have to say that I’m a little bit jealous. Gus and Erin are my favorite kind of couple– creative, free-spirited, and fabulously gorgeous. They’re having their ceremony at the Portland Rhododendron Gardens, which is sure to be absolutely...

Evelyn & Scott • Portland Oregon Engagement and Wedding Photographers

But they’re also humble and funny and adorably, magically...

We tossed around a bunch of ideas and knew that we’d struck gold when we decided to photograph...

Naomi & Chris’ Album Preview

Naomi & Chris had a beautiful wedding at Cannon Beach last summer. Their wedding was the most intimate that we’ve photographed, with only 11 attendees! Their families were lovely and their celebration was so personal and meaningful. Of course, Haystack Rock makes an amazing backdrop for any ceremony! They then had a champagne reception in...

Scott and Michelle

Scott and Michelle were married in a beautiful winter wedding. Their ceremony was at Rose Park Presbyterian Church and then they followed with a ceremony up at one of our favorite historic sites, Fort Vancouver. Courtney and Nick

Courtney and Nick had an amazing winter wedding at the beginning of the month. You may remember them from their engagement photos, which we shot in the summer when it was toasty outside. But Courtney had been planning things down to the last detail and we thought for sure that snow would be a part...
